Default Is this color combination even available on the GS?

I was looking at the Lexus website and something dawned on me. I don't even think this combination is available on the GS:

If I am not mistaken, the cashmere interior comes with a grayish/brownish dash and steering wheel, not black like the above.

Am I right?

Bam! I was right!

So what gives with the picture in my first post?

I really like the black/cashmere combo.

That's just the lighting and color balance that throws the Cashmere interior off. It looks like a gray upper dash but it really is Cashmere interior with heavy post processing or altered white balance...as it is evident throughout the whole brochure.

What I want to know is why I can't get the GFM exterior with a Cashmere interior. What a creamy luxo stunna combo that would be. I'd even pay extra and wait extra long for that special order ... but "no" sayeth Toyotito, imposing its tastes on me.

I don't think that combo would be pleasing to the eye-At least not to my eyes. Just my opinion.

You can get GFM with cashmere, just probably have to special order it.

I'm not sure cashmere would look good w/ GFM and I don't think you even can build it that way using the lexus.com configurator. The cashmere in person is very light (much more so than shown in pic 2 above). We have in our starfire pearl '07 and it looks great BUT.... my wife can get it dirty very quickly. Personally, I think it might not tie in so well w/ GFM due to the tonal differences (the cashmere is yellowish). YMMV.

Um how hard did you try? With my zip code on Lexus.com you can build a GFM with cashmere interior.

Really? Hmmm - what zip? I just tried a NE zip (68414 specifically) and couldn't do it w/ the GS 430, 350 or 460h. However, I could get it to configure cashmere w/ GFM on the IS. This makes me curiouser

WTF BBQ?!

I swear when I was shopping for a car 2 months ago all interior colors were available...

Sorry about that BurgBoxstr.

But I'm sure you can still special order one if you really want to though

To each his own i guess. but personally......i dont like the cashmere with the GFM or any color exterior really. As Burg stated earlier, it is REALLY light and gets dirty extremely easy. AND its kinda for the older crowd ive noticed!

Personal opinion of coarse!
