Here is a pic of my switch, i got this off an external HD enclosure (something like ebay item 150141423973). I was surprised I could not find anything this size at radioshack, so i hacked an enclosure i had laying around.

Anyone notice anything else in the pick that is different ??

Well, here is a picture of my panel. This is the rocker switch that I bought at Lowes. You can see that it does not quite fit right. There are spaces on the side of the switch. It should be a little wider to completely cover the hole, but you have to look close.

Nice, now that's what I call thinking outside of the box.

Yeah, Your Installer did a nice job. He cut the blank to fit the switch, so I don't need the part number. I may try cutting my blank this winter to fit the switch of my choice.

I wonder what he used to cut the plastic blank with, so the switch would fit in it?

That would be cool! - I am guessing though, that he needs to use the blank from the panel to mount the switch in. IOW, I don't think he has any blanks, unless he can get them from Toyota or Lexus.

Screw the blanks, I can cut all kinds of stuff with my dental handpieces. If you could get a switch, I would gladly paypal you some funds to cover the switch and shipping!

Yeah, but Robert do you have a Blank that you can cut? Also, I am guessing that it is a trick to get the hole cut squarely in the center of the blank.

Yeah, my car came with a blank and I took it out to put the switch in. I would imagine they can be easily ordered for a couple of bucks from the dealership as well. I'm not too concerned about centering the cutout, I'm used to cutting and drilling small things with a high degree of precision.
