Aerotect is who I used and they did an AMAZING job!!!

I got the VS installed as soon as possible. I didn't drive my car anywhere for the first couple of weeks after I bought it. I wanted to make sure the car was chip-free before the install. I'm pretty sure my wife thought I had gone loco since I bought a new car and wouldn't take it out of the garage!

What is a fair price for the job. I was quoted $475. Hi, Lo, or about right?

Sounds like a good deal. What coverage does this include?

Ask them to include the lights, and you got a great deal!!! But, even without lights, its still a good price.

BTW, another thing that I learned is due to specific chemicals in the paint you need about 30 days after the fresh factory paint to apply the film. Usually, its not a problem because it could take on average up to a month for the car to get to dealership and into your garage

Thanks guys, this forum is great. I have had a lot of cars and been on a lot of forums but this one is by far the best one I have ever seen. It really helps to get others feedback when they have experience and are willing to share. Thanks again.

Looks like a very good job on the clear bra Is ventureshield the best clear bra on the market? Or are they all pretty much equal?

That is correct. If you look at the manufacture date on the vin plate, chances are the car has already had a chance to sit at least a month from the time it leaves the factory. This is from the time it leaves Japan, sits on the ship and parked at the port, then eventually transported to your local dealership.

Its probably a touchy subject, since a see a number of people with 3M and others with VS. Often when you get it done from dealership, you don't have a choice since they use their own contractor to get the job done (and charge you 2x as much). I did my home work, researched a lot, talked to the owners of both film, and came to a conclusion of VS being superior IMHO I also know for sure there is a number of people who make false posts to bash the competitor product. Last month there was a guy in this forum claiming to be VS installer with 6 years of experience and bashing the product, when in reality VS has been around for only 4 years. In general, whatever product you decide to go with, make sure its done by a cerfitied installer. They all give you a lifetime material guarantee, only have to pay replacement labor. But if its done not by a certified installer, warranty will not apply. Also, anything over $500 is too much.

Does anyone have any experience with VS warrenty for the film turning yellow. I've read in other posts that VS states they do cover yellowing but it's hard to get them to actually cover it. Where as, 3M will cover it with no problems. VS warrenty is lifetime and 3M is only 5 years.

I don't know if these statements are true but I would like to know if VS will cover yellowing without much problems.
