Miles & rattles questionnaire.

As a temporary fix, I have wedged a thick piece of black cardboard between the windshield and the dash. This seems to alleviate most, but not all, of the noise.
I haven't yet brought this to the attention of my dealership. I have a feeling they'll just dismiss the problem as a "normal" noise in the car. Santa Monica Lexus hates dealing with rattle issues. Anyone know of other So Cal dealerships that are more willing to help with possibly taking the dash off to fix a rattle?

I wouldn't say rattles, but there is a squeaking noise coming from the center dash or center headliner area. I can't exactly pinpoint where it is exactly coming from.
Do you drive on crappy roads often? sometimes I drive over the potholes on the highways where I live.. Hopefully they fix them soon

600 miles
no
I've noticed rattling from the center dash area. It's minor, but after 600 miles I'm pretty surprised. I thought I might be too sensitive to the power of suggestion after reading all this rattling-related posts, but I realized that there's no rattling from my 02 TL w/ 85,000 miles across the same traveled roads.
