Ok...another question. I just talked with the tinting shop and they recommended 35% tint. I don't want it exceedingly dark....just something to soften the light coming in and look appropriate / conservative.

The tint on Eyekutr's looks awesome, but it's darker than I'm looking for. His is 15%. Am I safe in assuming that 35% is not as dark as 15%? I believe the value refers to the amount of light that passes through. Pls confirm.

Thanks again!

I am for the tints especially for a black car. I like it for looks and helps during the hot summers to help block the sun's rays so your car is not as hot as a sauna when your ready to go in.

Yeah that tint level will probably do. I started out with that but just wasn't dark enough.

No tint on a black car should be a crime punishable by death

I am getting mine tinted in 2 weeks. Tom, from http://www.theartoftint.com/ comes highly recommended by Huper Optik regional rep. I am getting 50% all around. I do not want dark tint on mine, esp here in northeast during winter time. I have black interior and it will show up a little darker. $450 for the tint, not bad for NYC shop. And yes, it's a ceramic film.

What do you guys think of Ziebart Car tinting shop? I got a quote today for 195 dollars for all windows except front windshield with 25% tint titanium? I think thats a great cheap price, it also comes with a lifetime warranty.
