hello, what do you mean by - "the wheel will rub" ?
i have them - 18' G-spiders on 350awd and they still ok, no scratch marks yet, however, when i drive i look at the road holes, hit some but rims are ok for now.

no rubbing. You do have to pay attention to the offsets and tire
choice if you are going with aftermarket wheels though...

Amazing how misinformed some people can be at some dealerships...

That's funny. I figured the dealer would be pushing the sale of the wheels to add to the car's sale price.

The parts managers at the dealership I bought my GS from told me the exact same thing. Bottom line, he was wrong. And IMO the 18's look soooo much better on this car than the 17's.

Wor... Thanks guys! That was quick replies!
You solve my problem! I think I will go with the 18" Lexus Spider wheels.
This is strange, the dealer even put 20" Chrome wheels on GS 350 AWD in their showroom. I have no idea why the salesman told me it will rub.
Another question, does the stock 18" come with performance(summer) tires or all season tires? And how long do they last?

people universally seem to hate the OEM options. You can do a
search for the recommendations.
Above all avoid runflats like the plague. Might as well get four stone
wheels from the Flintstones' cars and that would be a nicer ride than
runflats...

My opinion is that you should select your own set of tires since

And how is your tires? Do you need to change them every year or two?(Normal driving 12,000/year)
In fact, I have never experienced them before. Experts please help!
