Yokohama YK520 and AS530 Tires
Well, it's tire time. I can no longer handle the harsh ride of my Dunlop run flat tires with 21K miles.
I stopped at 2 dealers and this is what they suggested:
Tire Kingdom: Yoko AS430
Discount Tire: Yoko YK520
Apparently these tires are made specifically for these dealers. I found specs for both tires on the Yoko website and they each have a different design. I'm looking for a quiet, comfortable, and reasonably good handling all season touring tire.
Anyone using these tires? Comments? Thanks.

If you want a quiet tire Don't get the Yokohama's I have the 18" on my GS350 and they are so noisy, go to tire rack and check all Manufactures

You should log onto Tire Rack, select the category of tires for your vehicle that you think you may want to buy (Ultra-high performance all-season, or high performance summer, etc.) and review the customer ratings for the available tires.
I would also highly recommend buying from Tire Rack. You can go with one of their recommended installers and have tires shipped directly to the store and installed for a low guaranteed price.
I just dumpled my Dunlops run-flats in the first week of ownership of my GS 450h. I got Continental ContiExtremeContact all-season tires at Tire Rack and, although I had a bit of an installation adventure because of the run-flats that were on my wheels, I'm very happy with the overall experience. And I'm extatic about the difference that these tires made in the ride quality.

Modeler, I'm very familiar with Tire Rack as I've ordered from there multiple times. And I've been spending lots of time on Tirerack.com as well as speaking to them directly.
But, I also like to talk with local dealers to learn what they're recommending too.
Thanks for the help anyway.

Other than Tire Rack the only other source of information that I would ever consider is Consumer Reports. They rate tires from time to time. I'm pretty sure they did a test recently.
