Default How Long Until the 450h is outdated?

How long will it be until the GS 450h is outdated? The third generation Prius will be out as a 2008 model. It is supposed to have an all new battery and get 80 miles per gallon in the city!

I think it's the size of the battery & the weight of the hybrid system that concerns the GS hybrid more than fuel economy. It's suppose to focus on performance more. I would hope they can make the next generation GS hybrid lighter & have a bigger, more usable trunk. Better fuel economy would always be a good bonus of course.

Yeah smaller lighter batteries with much more storage capacity. Some of the newer hybrids that come out will be able run on only batteries for long distances at high speeds. The battery capacity of the GS450h is very small. If you accelerate from 0-60 at full throttle then brake to a stop right away, then repeat that a couple more times, your battery will be down to two or three bars and require the gas engine to start up to charge it.

they just went to a newer bigger engine in the GS3 model from 2006 to 2007. does that make the 2006 outdated?
