Bluetooth caller-id info not displaying correctly?
When a call comes in over Bluetooth (BT), it never seems to display the right number that's calling me. It usually displays a number, but it seems to be one from a previous call and not the current call. I have a Treo 700p with service from Sprint Nextel.
Any others experiencing this, and if so have you noticed a pattern? If its working correct for you, please note your phone model and wireless provider. I'm pretty sure the wireless provider won't make a difference, but I'm wondering if there are differences by phone model due to phone software interfaces written to BT.
Thanks

'Q' - Verizon
my old '06 GS300 shows me name from car phone book if it is there or displays the number, it also rings the ringtone associated with the number in the phone, it pretty much mirrors the phone behavior

Lexus.com used to list all the Treo models on the bluetooth page here:
http://www.lexus.com/models/LS/acces...bluetooth.html
Unfortunately there are none listed anymore.
I have the Treo 700w (Windows version not Palm) from Verizon and my numbers show properly if the number is in my GS phone book exactly as it comes in from the phone. If the number is only in my 700w phone book and not on the GS I don't get anything coming over from the phone, just an "unknown number." If the number is not in either place I get the number on the display.
My wife has the Motorola Q with Verizon and the CallerID works perfectly even if the number is on the phone or the GS, or only one of the two.

I seem to see a lot of people having trouble with their treo in the GS, best thing you can do is go to the dealership, and tell them you have a problem with the bluetooth and tell them what is exactly wrong with it, and they will try and help you out.

Thanks. I'll ask them tomorrow as I'm getting an alignment after having my new springs installed.
