Hey ConclevageCrew - Just want to say thanks for posting this. After installing the lights today (took me about 15-20 mins since it was my first time), my burnt out light is now fully functioning. I am shocked that lexus would be willing to charge $390 to change out one light bulb. A new pair (2) of bulbs costs me ~ $80..so $310 for about 15 mins of work? I feel really sorry for those owners out there who are getting robbed of their money. It's just really ridiculous.

I have the same model 3GS, my light started acting up today. It will randomly go off, then once i turn it on/off somehow it goes back up.

I'm sure i probably need to change my bulb.

Do you mind sending me the link where you got your replacement bulb, and hopefully i can figure out how to install it myself.

Thanks in advanced

Acting up? I thought that was common to our cars.
Does it really mean that it is asking for a bulb change?
Gotta confirm that.

I had Garax 6K during the winter time. Stock Philips 4300K much better if you drive in bad weather. Garax 6K could be used only in California (Imho)

Any fix for this headlight issue?

It just happened again today, flicker the lever on/off and the driver side headlight went back up.

Im not sure if i have the stock 4300 or 6000 garax i only the car less than 3 months.

I'm debating if i should order a pair of garax 6000 but it's odd if the bulb is the issue? Unless they are meant to still work but its indicating issue and need to be replace haha please help!

Bulb replacement?
Mine acts up as well, randomly.
They are all good, and suddenly, when I am driving, I notice one of my headlamps is off. Flick it, and its on once again.

So what to do?

Anyway, seems 6000k bulbs loses lumens and are not pure white at the end, with a bluish tint.

So, 5000k seems like a better option than the OEM 4300k?
Looking for something whiter than OEM but without losing visibility in terms of the amount of lumens.

If that is correct, tried to find 5000k phillips, but to no avail.
Instead, found these:

http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme-HID.../xt-d4s-5k.htm

Which one would be better?

Well, at the end I did find 5000k phillips, but they are D2S, and for sale in the US.
But those don`t work....
Found some 5000k phillips D4S, but at a japanese site
