it takes a lot of space, but it can fit, right?

I know strollers take up space, thats fine, as long as it can fit properly...

My 2.5 year old climbs in and out without a problem. Oh, and the other necessity is Satellite radio with "Kids Stuff" channel (thanks Sirius!!!). You will get endless hours of The Wiggles, Laurie Berkner, Dan Zanes, and The Sesame Street LOL!!!

I have one booster seat behind me and one infant seat in the middle,I would urge the seat protector and the Sirius!!!

Just to add some options for seat protectors. I have the one in the link in my wife's RX. Purchased for a little less at amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Two-Stage-Car-...0130989&sr=8-4

Works well, except taller car seats still leave dents on the upper part of the seat since the Prince Lionheart cover isn't that tall in the back.

Been using this one now for the past few weeks...seems to work a touch better since it is taller:
http://www.amazon.com/Kiddopotamus-C...0131033&sr=8-4

I have the Britax Marathon in the back of the GS, and room is sufficient. When the 2 y.o. throws a tantrum, she can kick the back of the passenger seat pretty well though. The trunk also fits the Maclaren stroller easily. I've put a Graco quattro in as well, but it is a little tighter.

Like a lot of others who posted in this thread, we have Britax Marathon which is the top rated car seat, and black/grey matches my black interior

For tall Britax car seat, this is what I'm using and it does a great job:

Cost about $12 at RightStart.com (http://www.rightstart.com/global/sto...item~3712.html)

And to protect the back of your front seat from scuff marks, this is a MUST!!!

Cost about $10 for a pair at RightStart.com (http://www.rightstart.com/global/sto...~item~885.html)

We should add this info to Tips/Tricks/DIY for child-proofing your car

Default First time father looking for 3rd gen GS to haul the family around in.

Hello everyone, looking for advice on whether or not the 2008-2011 GS is a good fit for a small family. Saw this post and was intrigued.
These car seats these days are pretty big, and of course there are strollers and bags and all kinds of other things to lug around.
I've got a 2004 RX330 now, and am looking for a used Lexus for under $25k. My wife drives a 2007 IS250, and I think I need something bigger. Maybe I don't.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm used to my LS and the GS is much smaller even though it drives so much better. It depends on how big the family is and how much stuff your lugging around.

Thanks for the reply!

Originally, I had the CT200h, the GS350 and the RX350 on my list. I've done a little research and I have taken the CT200 off the list and am left with the GS and the RX.
I live in Wisconsin, so I am looking for either FWD or AWD. I've never owned a strictly RWD vehicle, and I'm not sure I can start now.

At any rate, thanks again for the advice!

I am buying a car and noticed a couple small dents from what I assume was the car seat (saw other evidence of a little one). Is there a way to get those dents out of the leather?

I have a Britax Advocate 65 G3 and a Diono Radian RXT in mine... the kids are fine and we can even squeeze their aunt in between them.

I could never do either of them rear facing behind the driver seat though, there would be no room for me but it's fine forward facing.

My wife is about to give birth this November. I am also planning to buy a car seat for our baby but I have no idea what brand I should go for.
