2007 GS350 - $43,938 + 4,398 (tax and licensing) = $48,336.

I need to purchase my car in AZ. Does anyone know the loops holes of buying a car out of state and not having to pay taxes?

For $4,398, i can get myself some PHAT 20" Rims.
There's no way to avoid paying taxes in CA if you plan to register the car in California. If you buy out of state, they won't charge you sales tax. However, when you come back to California and you register your car, the DMV will charge you sales tax.

Tax and lic should not be more than fujifuzz's quoted $4400, your price seems to be amazing but the fees are like 5500...what else are they sneaking in??? maybe the rims are included in the fees somehow??

When I was in market for preowned, it seeemed like Lexus Mission Viejo had the most aggresive internet pricing in Socal.

I dont work there but would call looking for inventory which always ended up on the just buy a new one topic.

Newport, Tustin, and Westminister are apparently all owned by the same group, though when you go on Newport Lexus website, there are always cars on the preowned section with Longo Lexus Logos on the wall...

Just my 2 cents

Here are a couple of quotes I received in Southern CA.

Dealer 1:
Base GS 350 RWD No NAV/ML $41,640

Dealer 2:
Base GS 350 RWD w/NAV $42,900

Dealer 3:
Base GS 350 RWD w/18' rims, no Nav/ML $41,888

Let me know what you guys think. Can I do better if I wait till later in the year? Thanks

Those are some smoking deals!!! I actually ended up getting my ride at invoice since they honored my Taste of Lexus $850 rebate..

Jump on those deals.
