Default Trunk

Could you take a picture of the inside of the trunk, I'm curious how much space you loose in the hybrid.

Default Congrats

I have been tempted to make that same switch myself. Do you mind if I ask how much more the 450h cost after figuring in trade-in, etc?

Where are the photos of the interior?! I love the interior of the 3GS. No one ever posts interior photos though.

You'll pay MSRP for the 450H. You can go to the Lexus website and build one with the options you want to figure out what that is- Base is 55K and fully loaded is 65K. For me, the 450H was a 20K upgrade with the GS 300 trade.

The reason interior pics are rare is because they're hard to take. My interior is black, and all the pics I took looked like the inside of a cave. If you use a flash, you get lots of glare of the wood and display, and the colors are distorted. I'll try to take some more latter this week, but keep in mind that I'm no professional photographer. If you have any tips on how to take good interior pics, let me know.

Default great looking car

Hi,
I am from Holland and looking for either buying the new GS430 (or wait for GS460??) of the GS450H. I drive presently the 2005 GS430. Would be interested to hear how car handles at real high speed (220+) (still normal here in Germany!!). Influence extra weight on handling. Etc.
have fun with it!

The 450H is electronically limited to 131 mph(211 kph), so, if you want to reasch 220+ you need the 430/460. The 430 is limited to 149 mph (240 kph). There are no specs on the 460 yet, but I would guess it won't be restricted to less than the 430.

I don't have access to the kind of roads where you can drive as fast as you want to go, but IMO, no Lexus model handles well at excessive speeds. The steering is too soft, and I think that get aplified as you go faster. Another way to put it is that the GS tends to float, and thats not a good thing if your doing 220+. Maybe someone who has actually driven the GS that fast can provide real world observations.
