Default Gas Mileage On GS 430
Just wondering what you 2006 GS 430 owners are getting on average for miles per gallon?

we just finished a 1200 mile trip, averaging 60+mph and got 26-28mpg on our 430. Too Cool!!

Expect more like 18 or 19 mpg in city and short highway jaunts at 75 mph.

Does anybody know what the average gas mileage is on the GS 300 for comparison purposes?

local is 22.7mpg, highway 24mpg

My first tank of gas, I averaged 12 mpg, now I'm on my second tank, and I'm up to 17mpg. I guess I've slowed down a bit. :-)

Usually 18 MPG mixed driving. But on long freeway trips, the gas milegae is pretty good.

I usually average 21mpg with 60% local/40% hwy in my GS300 AWD.

I average about 20 mpg on 75% city / 25% Highway driving.

If it's all highway I get 27+ mpg.

I always drive with the POWER/ECT mode on.

when I was commuting around 100 miles a day here in LA traffic, I was getting between 19-21 mpg. Now that my commute is all city driving, I'm lucky to get 15-16mpg.

I live in Las Vegas, it is getting hotter and I keep my foot in it pretty well........So I seem to be averaging between 12-15MPG. I think I need to trade in for the Hybrid asap!!!!

15-16 miles for normal LA bumper-to-bumper traffic. I've gotten 22 mpg on a long trip before, but that's the exception.

I average about 17 in city driving, maybe 18 at best. Just returned from a trip to Memphis and average 26 on the way back cruising around 80 the whole way!

the amount of $$ you'll lose on the trade-in or private sale and the difference for the new hybrid will keep you in gas for years to come.
