Default Driving Style????

Ok guys I have heard a lot about using the ect button or not. Basically I want to know what is the best way to drive my 430? Best as in racing around and just having that feeling of WOW. I heard this feature takes up gas but I don't care. Is this ok to use all the time?

The ECT SPORT is going to add some extra kick to it. Also if you have it, the "Sport" suspension setting should help you get an extra feel for it as well.

Got my 430 in late November. Have been running with ECT and SPORT on virtually all the time -- for just that reason, the WOW factor. Definitely the fun way to go.

Now....I'd read on these pages that ECT wouldn't cost much in the way of gas mileage, but in fact it's more like 3-4 mpg. I run at 21 to 22 in standard mode, as low as 17 or so with ECT on.

Of course, it may also be that I drive a whole lot more aggressively when I'm in WOW mode.

I am a ECT guy since most of my miles occur on the freeway. I only use the sport button when I want to haul A@# around corners. Otherwise I am in ECT mode 100% of the time. I have been in ECT mode since 1998. True~

No clue on my gas mileage. Does it matter that I have 20 inch staggered rims when doing the suspension on sport?

I average 25 mpg on the highway, and that's with a stomp on the gas now and then. Probably around 18 in town with normal driving.

I usually get 18 - 18.5 MPG per tank. About 65% highway / 35% local.
