I would definately have waited for the GS350. Because I always wanted the newer high-resolution navigation screen.

Does anyone know if the new navigation will have 3D Graphics?

Default quick question

Hello CL,

Just a quick question, I too was looking to get '06 GS300 AWD or RWD, from the bay area california. I noticed from a few comments that other members were able to get this car fully loaded, (i'm looking for black on black, fully loaded, ML, navi) for invoice price. I was wondering if this was true for Norcal dealers, or exclusive to Socal dealers. If it is solely a socal thing, I'm willing to make the trip. Thanks for the help CL.

ps. I was planning to buy within the next 2-3 weeks as memorial day approaches.

I have to say I did love this car on its first 10,000 mile. After 10,000 mile service dashboard starts rattles. Now I also suffering rough ride even after I replace the run-flat to regular tire.

You'll get a better deal in So. Cal. Since there are so many Lexus dealerships here, especially in the LA area, dealers have to compete with each other.

My parents have just sold their 01 Acura 3.2CL to CarMax. Right now they are waiting for the GS350 so they could test drive it along with ES350 and BMW 530i and then decide which one to get.

Unless you are saving something like $10k I'd wait to get the GS350. There is not question about it, the GS350 will be better than the GS300 on every category. Most owner will tell you that they love their GS300 but if they had a choice to get a GS350 when they bought their car they would get the 350 it in a heart bit. Fuel economy will not change significantly, if anything it will be better since the 3.5 will be a newer engine. Just be patience and wait.
