Default Adding TV & DVD to Navigation Screen

After some reserach, i am found solutions from:

nav-tv.com

tvandnav2go.com

tvonnav.com

I am looking to pull the trigger on the 'plug & play' solution & have it installed by my lexus dealer.

Before pulling the trigger, I would like to hear from people who have dealt with any of these 3 companies & what experience they had with their solution in the long run.

Thanks

Which product (manufacturer) did you get to have dvd work on your navigation screen & was it difficult to do the installation?

Thanks

the ML navigation dvd drive can be used to play movie dvd...correct?

however, we need to buy one of those vaistech or nav-tc products & have it installed to be able to use the navigation dvd drive to play movie dvd on the navigation screen..correct?

im just trying to understand what are the steps & what i need to buy

the ML system comes equipt w/ the dvd player, BUT it is set up to where you can ONLY watch the dvd while it is in park.
if the car is put into drive the DVD will cut off and go to the navigation screen.
to make it simple just buy a lexus with the ML navigation take it to your local audio installation shop and ask them to do a by-pass on the navigation/dvd player and they will know exactly what you are talking about.

you also have to step on the parking brake. the two factors are parking brake and speed. you have to be stopped and p-brake on for the disc to play.

If you don't have the ML system is there a way we can upgrade our NAV to hook up with a DVD unit?

Do you have to have the ML to play dvd's? What if I have the navi, but I only have the standard stereo....will it play DVD's?

Thanks

While parked and with the emergency brake on load a DVD just as you would a regular CD. Play it, see if it works. If it doesn't work it must mean you need the ML system.

I have Mark Levinson. I tried loading the DVD in both the Navigation drive & the 6-cd changer. In both cases it does not read the DVD. What am i missing???
