Seat belt locking
On the drivers side the seatbelt locks so u can not put it on. Like ever other day for an hour or less. Anyone have this problem?
I took it in to Lexus, they said they found nothing I called and told them it did it agene they told me they tested the BACK seats for 30mins and they ware fine I told them it was the front. They are now replacing both front seatbelts.
Plz post if you are having this problem

I had this happen to me once. It was at night and I have to admit I was pretty pissed at the car the entire ride home that night because I could not get the seatbelt on. Once I got home though, I noticed that even though the seat belt was retracted (i.e. not latched), if you look at the slot where the belt goes into the side of the seat, it was pulled forward in the slot (towards the front of the car) rather than being in the back of the slot (as it should be when the belt is not in use). All I had to do was move the belt to the back of the slot and the seat belt lock dis-engaged. Never had it happen again to me.

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Over the past month, at least 3 days out of the work week my driver's side seatbelt will lock and I can't put it on. I've tried turning the car off, opening the door all to no avail. Will be taking it to the dealer where I'm sure they'll say they can't find anything wrong.

Happened to me for about 10 minutes once. This was before
the seatbelt recall that affected some of the early GS and IS models.
I have not had any problems since the recall work was done. If your
model was affected by the recall you probably would have gotten
a letter by now, though.
