Wink Tints are on

Here's a couple of pics taken at Lorenzo's, which didn't come out too sharp, probably because of the fluorescent lighting. I'll be posting more pics of it under the sun tomorrow.

Madico 35% tint all around.

More pics!

Its just too bad you guys have to have front plates up there in NY, the front looks so much cleaner without it, one thing I like about georgia.

Thanks, it's the Charcool tint. How dark does the 20% look? Have any pics? I was debating about whether to go with 35% or 20% but finally decided on the former because I didn't want to attract unnecessary attention from the po-po's.

Question - is it normal for the tint to have bubbles while it's drying? I see quite a bit of bubbles on the rear window all along the bottom.

No. You should take it back to the shop and have them push the bubbles out. Preferably before the tint completely dries in the first 48 hours...

Should not have white bubbles at all, white meaning blatently noticable, if they are pinpopint bubbles could be dust/sand under the tine, if they are slightly lighter than the surrounding area it is moisture that was left behind, sometimes its not noticable under the lighting but is under the sun, I suggest you take it back as soon as u read this to get it looked at, once it dries around the bubble it wont be able to be pushed out.

So I called the guy that did the tints and he said it's normal for this to happen especially when it's cold outside as it will take longer for the tint to dry. He said give it 2-3 days under the sun and they should disappear and to bring it in next week just to make sure everything is okay. He said as long as they don't look like fingerprints, it should be alright, and that bubbles are normal. I don't know what to believe...

Another tint shop in the area? Take it to them for a professional opinion. Or just wait, if they dont disappear at least u got a phone call to fall back on when politely but firmly asking for it to be re-done.

Sorry I do not have pics of mine, its about to go by by anyway, Looking to get the RX or GS. The GS will most def get the charcool, in the day time its not bad but is slightly hindering to look out of at night. Whenever I park in a deck I roll my front windows down to get better visability, 35% may be the best way to go. Only wish they made a 28% or sumthin

I'll most likely just wait as I wouldn't want to screw it up if I tried to fix it myself. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and see if those bubbles disappear on their own as the tint fully dries. Either way, I'll end up going back there next week because he usually has his customers return so he could address any problems or concerns if there are any.

At first I thought 35% would be too light, but as I'm getting used to looking at it from the outside, it seems just right. Last night I had difficulty seeing the curb as I was backing up even with the rear view mirror pointed down on an angle. However, there were no street lamps where I was parking, so it should be fine if there is ambient light.
