im sorry if this i am being annoying by asking so many how do you do this and how do you do this questions but if someone could explain to me the step by step to the following it would be greatly appreciated.. i have not had time to go to my dealer and ask him to do these things..

By pressing the remote key door unlock button, the following functions can be programmed:
1. Pressing the unlock button one time will unlock all doors.

When the vehicle reaches 13 mph, the vehicle can be programmed as follows:
2. All of the doors will automatically lock.

By pressing on the trunk release button, located on the remote key, the trunk will open. The release button can be programmed to function as follows:
1. Press button one time to release the trunk. (No delay)

the manual has a lot of info. there is an entire chapter on door locks and key functions. Pgs 7-42 to be exact.

Your 1-button push request for the key fob unlocking and the trunk opening is not described in the manual, so those you have to get to the dealer to change.

For the speed function (lock at 12mph instead of when shifting out of P), this is on Pg 38. The trick is, you have to CANCEL the shifting out of P in addition to SETTING the 12mph locking. In simpler terms, do this:

1. get in your car and close door
2. press start button twice, WITHOUT foot on brake pedal
3. press and hold LOCK on your door panel
4. count 1-one thousand, 2-one thousand, 3-one thousand, 4-one thousand, 5-one thousand
5. release immediately after 5-one thousand, doors will lock/unlock to confirm
6. turn off your car completely (press start button once without foot on pedal)

Then set for 12mph lock:

7. press start button twice, WITHOUT foot on brake pedal
8. put your foot on brake, and shift into N eutral
9. press and hold LOCK on your door panel
10. count 1-one thousand, 2-one thousand, 3-one thousand, 4-one thousand, 5-one thousand
11. release immediately after 5-one thousand, doors will lock/unlock to confirm

For the opening of all doors when touching any handle, this is on Pg 23. In simpler terms, do this:

1. stand outside your car
2. hold the key fob and press LOCK UNLOCK TRUNK all at the same time
3. count 1-one thousand, 2-one thousand, 3-one thousand, 4-one thousand, 5-one thousand
4. release immediately after 5-one thousand, the car will beep either 1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x
5. repeat this process until the car does 2 beeps to confirm the ALL door unlock function (each time you perform these steps, the settings change in order, so just keep going until you get the 2-beep confirmation)

good luck

Dealer only. Only a Lexus dealer can change that particular setting.
