Default wind noise coming from sunroof

I have very slight wind noise coming through my sunroof but I only notice it when the solid screen is open, can someone else check if they are having the same problem? Is this just the nature of the beast, or should I take it back. It's sorta annoying while driving, but I don't want to be **** about it.

I don't have an 06, but both of my Lex have a little more wind noise when the sun shade is open. It's just because the glass is less insulated when the shade is pulled back. It shouldn't be too loud though.

I'll check mine tomorrow when I go to work, but I don't recall hearing wind noise when the roof is closed, but the cover is open.. I'll give some more info tomorrow..

I hear absolutely no wind noise coming from mine. Take it back, nothing's too **** if it doesn't seem just right.

I had to take mine back three times to get the radio fixed. The reception was bad and they finally found that the amplifier in the roof did not have a good connection to the antenna in the back window. This was after they replaced the radio which didn't correct the problem

i think everyone should take a drive w/ the sunshade cover open and the sunroof close...there will be very slight wind noise. it's very slight, but then again it's a lexus, so i'll be taking her back in.

I'm having same problem as you and that noise is driving me crazy. Did you take your car to the dealer yet?

I can also hear the slight wind noise when the speed is above 55mph. I ask my dealer about it, and the response was that it's fairly common on the 3GS. I test drove another new one to verify, and it performed similarly.

I think if you are concentrating on the sun roof you tend to notice the wind noise coming from it - and if you close the cover it goes away - but you have to listen carefully - it's certainly not intrusive IMHO. What annoys me about the sun roof is that after you close it, it squeaks over every uneven surface you encounter...and it doesn't seem to stop until the next time you take the car out...

I drove all around on Saturday with my sunroof open and I didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. In fact, I forgot it was even open when I got in the car this morning. I leave the house before sunrise and was surprised when sunlight came in from the sunroof (as I usually have it closed).

No wind noise from there, but did have it coming from the rear quarter window on passenger side. The dealer replaced it as they found a broken seal.
