Sorry, I was just making a joke. I'm sure there'll be a hack along sometime, but whatever company figures it out will probably charge for it...

The 06 GS with ML comes with indash 6 disc DVD changer and 7.1 surround. The Nav DVD is located in the the glove box and got nothing to do with the CD/DVD. In order to watch DVD on the new GS you have to be at 0 mph and parking brake on.

Oh, the " Unrated" in the picture is from the movie " Old School"..

Hey VVT-i,

Below the third brake light there is an apparent sensor (almost looks like a tiny camera) what is that for?

That's the sensor for the combination meter's lense, so the glass on the lense can adjust itself to reduce glaze. They put the sensor on the back window because when the bright sunshine coming from the rear of the car it will effects the visibility of the combination meter.

Default Also WORKS on my 04 GX!!!!

That is too cool! I tried it on my 04 (non-bluetooth) GX and a menu came up with all kinds of nifty options. That is a very cool feature! Thanks!

I wonder if it works with the car running? I only tried it with the engine off. There is an option that allowed me to see out of the rearview camera on command. Maybe I could use this menu to manually watch something in tow while driving! This is very cool!

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that an option on the hidden screen or did you have to alter the code?

Nope....no code there..you have to alter some of the wiring from the back of the NAV...VVTi has done it however.

VVT-i, 7.1 no kidding? I thought it came with 5.1? Was that a type-o or did I miss something?

Nevemind, I found the answer. They call it inhanced 7.1 due to speaker locations or something like that. It's not true 7.1 surround sound.

No, you have to do the Nav modification for the dvd bypass and you will be able to use your BT phone while driving.

What is that? I know about overriding the NAV so you can set that while in motion, but the dvd bypass nav mod

Thanks,
Jim
