The STS, which has been touted as a slow seller and a disappointment for Cadillac sold more during the month of March than the Infiniti M!?!
Once the Lexus gets going with the hybrid version and the upgraded V6 & V8 engines in the GS I think Lexus has a real chance of overtaking the E Class and 5 Series.

They made a mistake in their RX330 stats line.
Should say a 3.0 percent INCREASE, not decrease.
RX 330 9,104 9,039 -3.0
The GS did outstanding on its first years launch. Same with the Avalon - SUPERB numbers!
Keep it up guys!

Does the GS numbers include only 2006 GS sold or also 2005? Because some dealers still have GS's since January, even till today. The total calendar year from January to March 31st 2005 shows total number of GS's sold to be 5658 units. And the total amount of GS sold in march 2005 is 3209. Is that 2005 AND 2006 units or only 2006? How do you know?

I am positive Lexus is extremely happy with the results. They are in the top 3 for sales. The GS may have the addition of the AWD version but compared to the E and 5 still lacks a wagon, a AMG/M car and a 525 competitor. Lexus again hits the nail in the head with what consumers want.
Infiniti has to be very pleased with their results, finally, no 40k + luxury sedan flop! Kudos to them.
Kudos to Audi, A6 sales are really picking up, a deserving and sometimes overlooked car.
I had no idea Volvo sold that many S80s (or little I guess).

Acura RL sales since the new model. Dropped barely but clearly off the Nov/Dec pace.
Oct 1,320
Nov 1,941
Dec 1,967
Jan 1,371
Feb 1,412
March 1,376
They wanted 20k sales a year for the RL. At this pace, they will have around 15k sales in 2005, 25% below expectations.

Look at the sales numbers for the 525i, they're pretty impressive...almost identical to the 530i and much better than the 545i.
IS 350 will be RWD only, so when the GS 350 comes, will it be RWD only? Thus making AWD for the GS 300 only?
Just a thought.
