agree with NeverSatisfied. same maintenance as black. i have an indigo ink pearl SC (dark blue, but lighter than blue onyx) and it is a PITA to keep clean. every imperfection is noticeable!

BLACK is a huge PITA to keep clean I had a Black RX300 then a LS400 the winter the car was almost white

its harder to clean than silver, but not as hard as black. Nothing comes close to black.

I think the color on my SC430 & the Blue Onyx Pearl are just as hard to keep clean as black, & you have to be just as careful with it to keep it swirl free.

Black Onyx is a solid color. Blue Onyx is a two stage and has a clear coat to protect the pigment layer. It is much less prone to atmospheric damage. Since it too is dark it will show dust etc but is not as sensitive to rubbing and acid rain. If you go for Black Onyx then keep it waxed and don't put much soap in the bucket. Use a microfiber towel and don't put any pressure or you will scratch it.
