Flip, please hurry I can't wait to see the pics, this is the color combo I am seriously thinking of. What did you think of the GS430? What did you think of the color combo? Did you get the chance to sit in it or was it roped off?

What did the rims look like? spokes? Details Details

This is my favorite color combo of the 3 choices. Car was unfortunately on the turntable. The "Actors" aka Product Specialists were on their mic giving info they just learned in a crash course before the show. The rims look great. Graphite just like the same color graphite wheels on the IS, RX, LS (18" optional 5 spoke) and etc. Much better than the multispoke 17's on the GS3. I'll have the pictures up soon.

On a sidenote, Elizabeth from Longo Lexus was there last night and was the only Lexus Sales rep there. All the other people there are traveling actors for Lexus. I've seen some of those actors at the SF AutoShow back in November. Most of them came to Elizabeth asking questions about the vehicles and explanations. I found that pretty funny that they all came to her with questions on the vehicles and to clarify what they had learned in their "crash course" LOL.

Goodness, I was only there for a short time and I actually ran out of business cards. Unbelievable. I would've stayed longer, but it took me 2 hours to get inside the convention center. Sucks that the Staples Center was next door and there was a game on, too much traffic!

I was standing up on the LF-S stage for awhile and I kept getting plowed over by people trying to get a glimpse of it. That is a sleek car. Did you see the color camera on the inside dash? It looked like a navigation screen, but there is a camera in the front of the car (like the back-up camera) and as it was rotating you can see it move. Soooo awesome.

Aww, Ryan, those Lexus people were nice, how can you ask someone to cram 16 years worth of Lexus information into 1 week of training? I didn't mind answering therir questions. Anyways, they were nice to let me onto the GS platform to open up the hood of the new GS. It was "fenced off" and when I asked her to open up the hood, she was like, okay, follow me. I thought she would go and open it, I didn't know she was gonna let me do it! Oh my gosh, I just realized I sat in the new GS! Hot d*mn!

Mercury Metallic? Is that different from silver? I saw the Lexus cam on Lexus.com and thought it was silver. Please explain more about the tint of the car? Still cannot believe it was not silver

Mercury Metallic is the new silver. It's currently on the LS430, if you happen upon a dealership you can stop in and check it out. There's 2 different shades of silver paint on top of one another. That's what gives it the depth and extra sheen. It's gorgeous! Try to see in person. Pictures and on a camera do not do justice to that color!!!!
