Default gs400 owners (e shift question)

ok i have had my car for a week and a half now and am wondering my e shift doesnt beep when i downshift to two of try past five . when i have my is300 loaners they do , something strange sometimes at speeds of 10 mph or less i will try to downshift from 3 to 2 and it BEEPS and wont let me downshift ! whats that all about ! if i put it in d then in m couple times its fine . what i want to know is something wrong or is that normal ?

It beeps like that when you try to downshift into a gear where you're above the redline of the gear you're trying to shift into. Won't let you do it.

It also beeps when the engine is cold and u try to downshift into 2 to early. I think that is what is happening. To protect the engine, it won't let u rev that early in the morning.

thank god i thought something was broke now that i remember it did it twice in the morning when i just started it ! but no ones beeps when your in 5th trying to go to 6th (doesnt exist just reference )
