Black is beautiful, but it's too hot for so cal- here's my 75k mi all original except for the 20" blings and tein suspension. the wheels came with the car which i purchased last july. btw, is there any way to reset the computer or the trans when you have larger diameter tires on this car? i am just getting to know this car.
GS300's have a 3.92 rear end ratio.. Should be good with 20's.. Unless you want better gas mileage with a taller gear but your acceleration will suffer alittle. OR you can go even shorter to 4.10, 4.27, 4.55 if you want it to be quicker but your gas mpg will suffer on the hwy.. I say, stick with what you got or get a faster GS..

Thanks for the reply. Really I am just **** about the speedo and the odo. I like accuracy. The original 215-60-16's have a general overall diameter of 26.2"-26.3". The 235-45-17's have a general overall diameter of approx 25.3. So, Lexus must have compensated somewhere for the two offerings there because 1" will have some effect. They do pay attention to detail, right? The Toyo 245-35-20's on the car have an approx 26.8" diameter. I like a bit more sidewall. But with 20"s they'll be way too tall. Plus, the Hipnotic Blurs are a bit too blingy for me. If anyone is interested, I'll be selling them soon. So I am looking at going maybe 255/35-19's. I just have to find the right wheel. This is my cruiser. For performance I have another car. I mainly went with the Tein Street Advance adj coilovers for the stance. Pit Crew in San Gabriel did a nice install at a fair price. I got factory alignment specs done at Tucker Service in Covina. They do it old school and no camber adjusters were needed because I only went about 1 1/4" on the drop. I'll post some more photos when I have some time.
That's nice... always love a meaty setup. What are the specs on the 18s?
They're 18x9.5 +35 all around with 265/35-18 (Federal 595 RS-R so they run a bit wide like a normal 275/285) except I had to run a 10mm spacer on the front to clear my TT brakes. Rear has no spacer.

Thanks man, I love all this grip and finally having wheels that aren't anchors. Driving in the canyons is so much fun now.
looking good Danny... i had 19's almost 4 years ago and although the 20's look better the car was more peppy with the 19's... Now you need some sways....
