One of the features from my previous car (96 MBE320) that I miss on the GS is the wide range of tilt adjustment (not up and down adjustment) of the front headrests. On the MB, you could tilt it waaaay forward, so much so that it would actually be in the exact spot your head was just by being seated upright and not tilting your head back.

On the GS, the level of tilt adjustment is so small in comparison, that it feels as if it moves barely half an inch in total tilt from straight up to forwards.

Has anyone else noticed this and done something about it? I would really like to change the tilt adjusment on my headrest. One other annoying thing about it too, is that it tends to move back if you rest your head on it..........

I've thought of doing the same thing, I really like the way you can get MB headrests to go way forward! Hmmm, got me thinking again...

Maybe try to install the racheting mechanism from the 1st Gen, it lets the headrest go really far forward, and it locks into place.
