Fuel economy with VSC off... how is yours?
Hello, fellow CL GS enthusiasts.
Question to those of you that drive with the VSC off. Have you noticed a decrease in gas mileage, compared to VSC on?
On my car, the drop is slight, but I think it is there (~1mpg). I think that VSC used to cut power in corners, which it doesn't do when it is off - makes the fuel economy worse. In theory, seems logical.

Unless you are consistantly taking turns so fast that your VSC kicks in (you will know it is because an orange light with a picture of a car with wavy lines behind it will show up on your dash), it shouldn't make any difference.

May be, I just drive harder with VSC off, than I do otherwise.
It seems that the car is slightly more tail-happy with the VSC off (even in situations when the light doesn't flash) - this may be subjective however.

I think it might be mental. When you drive with it off, you subconsciously try to push the car more to see if you can round a corner without spinning the rear (or to spin the rear), thus driving the car harder, and using more gas. Just my opinion.
