Default It's not the same!!

I've tried the tape before from 3M and it is not the same...the quality is not as good as the spray. I was told by abboushi that the spray is available at www.nopi.com for about $40 dollars. With 2 coats of this spray your taillights will be the quality you want !!! I'm gonna get my hands on that stuff this week and paint my tails

PAULGS430 was the one selling the red tint strips. I know since I contacted him about it a couple weeks ago...just haven't gotten around to sending money for them yet......however, I do have some transparent vinyl film on order from my distributor that matches perfectly with red taillights....I think it's from Oracal....

Wink yep

Yep das me. Hey guys my friend HitechGS2001 has painted his 01 Tails. I was very surprised at the OEM looks form the paint job. 2 days ago I got him to paint mine. Now my tails are painted with no tint that may end up peeling or buckling in the future. 2 coats of (Testors) hobby section Candy Apple Red clear paint is available from Walmarts. Use a very fine mist & shake the can very well. Any other questions just PM me.
I still have the 20% red tint available. Now Hightech is gonna clear out my front Turn-Signals too & swap out to Polarg M-18. His turn signals mod is a Great little mod. IMO the tint is just as good as paint. I was just tired of making the tint.

this is my car. i used red transparent film. i tried red tint spray before but hated the spray paint reflectiveness. the film i used is not vinyl. it's more like thin plastic. not stretchable but it's bendable. looks like glass even from point blanc distance.

I only used red film on the orange part. the top and bottom reds are unchanged. As you can see, the orange part (now red) looks totally identical to the top and bottom.

I got the red tint from Paul but I haven't installed it yet. Another mod that I was waiting to install after the winter was over.

Danny, I gotta come see your car after you spray the lights. Maybe I'll do the same.

Globe,

I saw you at the corner of berkley and Campus last Friday at the light. I look at your rear tailights and they looked pretty clean. Nice work.

Globe where did you get the film, it really looks great and is probably easier to remove than paint if necessary. Thanks
