Default 19" g35 rays questions... yes I've searched lol

Yes I've searched threads regarding these 19" g35 forged rays questions...I'm about to pick up a set and wanted to hear from people who mounted /ran/tried to (lol) mount these rims and tires and how it worked out. I am particularly interested to know what these rims drive like or if they can be driven without using hub rings. I have called couple local tire places and they do not sell 66.1 to 60.1 hub rings as its not a common size. Again, just wanting to know/hear from people who ran or are running this rim set up. The set I'm looking at will come with 215/36l5 front and 225/35 rear (skinny I know) will plan on changing these in future. Any and all info greatly appreciated as always!!

so if you "searched" the threads why not just post it in the thread to keep the clutter down and so other people searching the thread can find it? use hub rings as I told you in the PM you sent me

true but almost everyone in that thread has also or is running them.anyways I did run spacers AND I ran hubrings as they are not the same (although they do make hub centric spacers)

Why wouldn't you run hub rings? Without them, the wheel isn't actually sitting on the hub...

Hub rings are not necessary, but they are recommended. Without them they are just like any other non-OE wheel. Most aftermarket wheels have a larger center bore than the car they are fitted to. Using them is a good idea, if you can find some. You can most likely have some made, I guarantee there must be a place you can order them online.

I was always told when using NON OEM (and I mean OEM to the car manufacturer) rims to use hubrings, now whether that's true or not I dunno but they are stupid cheap so I don't even sweat it.

I still don't know why this thread exists, the information IS in this thread already

Ran them without hubrings and had vibrations. Installed them after asking Sakataj about them and vibrations were gone (along with an alignment for good measure). Listen to the man and install them. I got mine from Amazon or something for cheap. I think I got the plastic ones (can't remember what they were made of exactly, but they weren't the metal ones).

And I got my advice from the plethora of older members who had done this before me.... I ALSO used the cheap ones and mine were plastic which is what was recommended in the links I provided. anyways I think this has been beaten the ground just get the hubrings they are super cheap

plus one for using hub rings, theyre cheap and get rid of vibrations in most cases. Im sure you'll be able to find some 66.1 to 60.1 on ebay.
