HELP PLEASE! 2004 GS 300 won't start!
My 2004 GS 300 won't start! It all started last week when I tried to turn it on, and nothing cut on and it was making a click noise when ever I turned it on. My uncle jump my car and it came on. Fast forward last night, It wouldn't turn on again, so I got it jump again and it came on. It's not my battery because I got a new battery two months ago. I have been noticing my instrument panel has been dimming some what since I got it out the body shop, but then I got my battery checked and I had a bad cell so I replaced it. I've been told that it might be my alternator but when I took it to autozone they said my alternator and battery is good, but something is draining my battery and I don't know what it is. If anybody could help me I would appreciate it. Thank You!

Check your battery terminal connections. Last month my '99 GS400 wouldn't start and I couldn't figure out why. All I got was a single click. I knew it wasn't the starter because I didn't get the starter "whine". All my accessories and radio worked fine, but when I turned the key nothing happened. Finally I popped the hood and sure enough on of my battery terminals was loose. Not sure why it must have happened over time. So I would go over everything and make sure all your connections are tight.

Hi Fresh877,
First, Welcome to the club
Second, Can you go to another auto part or auto shop to double check your alternator to make sure your alternator working fine?
Third, You car have any audio equipment or aftermarket Radio? Check that connection. Also, the terminals of the battery are clean?
Four, Maybe and I say maybe, one of the computer on the car start going bad and make that the battery drain?
Check all this possibility.
Good luck

The only way to really know what is going on it to put a meter in series with the positive battery connection and disable circuits by puling fuses or unplugging them until you see the draw go away. I think even a cheap HF meter has this ability. Quick Google search Parasitic Draw test https://www.batterystuff.com/kb/arti...itic-load.html
Good luck!
