Help with wet carpet on passenger side footwell
Hey guys, I've searched through the forum a bit but rather than but an years old thread that was somewhat relevant I wanted to address this specifically. It is only the passenger side footwell of my GS 400 that is wet, no the drivers side at all. I read that it may possibly be a clogged ac drain line. Could someone tell me where this line is located maybe even if you have a pic of where it is? It seems to be tied to ac / heater use so I thought I would try this first. Alternatively are there other know issues that cause this on the passengers side?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Ac drain hose.
Jack front up and place stands . Lay under pas side and look for drain hose. Get long wire tie and push it up the drain hose or anything flexible enough to bend as it goes up the hose. Another leak could come from your sun roof drain.

It's most likely the sunroof drain. Clean out the channel around the opening and you will find 4 small drain holes. I use string trimmer line to unclog drain lines. Then I use a watering can to test the drains. You will see puddles if water under the car if they work.

Spiders like to clime up the drain tubes and set up camp. I am not sure that would be enough to totally clog them, but you can see them right after the rear wheels. You can give them a quick check.
