Well, you may think that but their light output is garbage and there is no argument on that

In my direct experience with them, there is plenty of light. They are brighter than any non HID oem headlamps I had on my previous Lexus. Whether this is due to output or just the fact that they are brand new and crystal clear I couldn't say.

Do you have statistics to back up your claim or are you just being negative?

I would argue that its cause the lenses are new but without conducting a test i cant say definitively.

i have my eyeballs when i installed my buddies and compared them to his OEM and to my factory HIDS... lol everytime someone criticizes these lights your response is almost the same asking them if they are just being negative. i have personally seen the light output and its garbage but if your happy with them, then rock on brother. i don't care as they aren't mine, personally i would have just taken the lense from those and installed it on my OEM and gone on with my life

When he says the output is garbage, he may (and should) mean that the pattern is not ideal. There is NO question that there is MORE light coming out. The issue is that much of the excess light is lost on squirrels, bats and oncoming drivers. You WILL have more light in the condensed cone on the pavement in front of you, but you will have more hot spots.

The ONLY true way to have intended light output is to have the correct bulb type in the correct housing. Even a retro may not yield perfect results as not ALL the light control is done by the glass projector.

Some of this is irrelevant, though, as there is NO, AFAIK, current regulation on how much and where the light outside of the cone goes.

The best possible output is a complete retrofit using modified oem headlights

Can't go wrong with LS430 projectors.

Sure did & the output is amazing. Light spread is actually a lot wider. Cellphone camera doesn't capture it all. 8 lane spread easily

Ahh man, I didn't need to see that.lol I also have ls430 projectors on my GS and have been fighting the urge to put a pair on Lando Calrisian ugh, it's even the same color as mine. What do you like better, SC430's or LS430's?

did anyone mention that the ebay light lens will probably fade a hell of a lot quicker than an oem?

I like them both. My LX has the CBI bulbs along with the SC430's. It's hella bright but my GS has standard 5k Philips & the spread is just amazing. I like them both. I have a 2010 GX with oem hids & debating on upgrading the lights in there

That would depend on the brand and how well you take care of them.
1st thing I would do to any pair of headlights is put a coat of clear on them.
