OEM Alarm going crazy!!
Hey guys I was wondering if any of you had this problem.. Tonight around (1100pm-300am) my alarm went off 3 times by itself driving my whole neighborhood nuts.. The last time I didn't wake up and my neighbor came banging on my door asking me to turn it off The only way I found to fix this for now is to drive my car around the block, park, and NOT lock the doors through the key fob. This issue has only happened 3 since I've owned the car for the last 5-6 months. Both other times were during the day so it wasn't that big of a issue.
Is there anyway to disable the factory alarm?
2 of my rear door locks actuators do not function but I bought the car in this condition and I do not believe they are the problem.

usually the door switch is what would trigger the alarm to trip... i would check the latches to see if they are loose.. if they are you can adjust them to pull tigher... the actuator for the lock itself is only a motor to lock/unlock the doors but the whole mechanism does include the door trigger... it may be causing your false alarm if something isn't right in there...

I was experiencing the same thing for a very short period of time, come to find that my passenger door sensor went bad. Now the car just doesnt know if the door is open or not, dome lights dont turn on or anything. When the sensor went out, the car thought it was open and would start the alarm. This happened a few times in like one or two days till it completely died... Never had the problem again. Everything still functions the same, but the door is dead and can be entered from that side with no 'alarm'.

My hazards also blink twice when I lock the car with the remote, this means that the alarm is activated. When I lock it by hand the hazards don't blink which means the alarm isn't activated.
