Default 5 years of ownership 1998 Cinnabar Pearl GS400

The GS400 has been one of my favorite cars to own over the last 5 years. Seems like she continues defying aging. Over the years I have replaced minor things and kept mods in good taste to keep her relevant. Currently mileage is at 129K. Needless to say here's some photos.

I LOVE THOSE WHEELS! Very nice example of a clean '98 GS400. Here's to many more years!

This is one of the best 2nd gen gs i've seen seriously!!!!! I wanted to get those wheels myself. What are your tire sizes and do you need to buy different lug nuts for those wheels???

Great looking car! And with super low miles, that's a good find. I always liked the 400 over the 430 personally.

That's pretty clean. Have you thought about upgrading the headlights to retrofits?

Is that an original factory paint color, or is that a custom one off paint job? Just curious as I have not seen that color on a 2gs. Thanks!

It's an original color from 1998 although the lighting in his pictures make it look a little more orange than in person. Edit, so does the picture I picked below, lol.

All these years and this is literally the first time I've seen a color-keyed OEM grille on these cars. It looks sharp especially with the car being a bold color like red.

LOL...that's amazing as I'm in Austin,TX and I see Lexus cars all the time...I have never seen that color combo on the street, on a 2GS to be specific.

I would not have liked the idea without seeing it. I'm surprised, but it works well on this car.

I'm glad this thread got bumped, that is a super clean GS.

I agree. I think the 2nd Gen GS is probably the best designed GS body style. Now that it's about to be discontinued, I just plan on keeping mine as a great rare daily driver.
