I bought a brand new Denso unit online for $260.22, shipped, filled with oil, last month.....it is installed and now have ice cold air....but I did that so the a/c would work for another 10 years.
still 1 for sale from the supplier I used.

Sweet I'm about to order my condenser, is the dryer built into it? I read that they come together but when I look them up to order. it doesn't say if the drier is included.

I bought a Denso condensor, came with drier, most do come with drier from what i have seen, i went with Denso, since i repaired the car to be used for another 10 years, i stayed away from low priced other brands, I paid $113 for the Denso condensor model # 477-0541 fits 98-05 Lexus GS300 3.0L-L6

The drier is made onto the condenser so your good there, it's the vertical tank on the passenger side of it. Since you are replacing the condenser and buying a used compressor, I would drain the oil from the compressor you get, and re-oil it so you know for sure how much and what type is in there. It requires 7oz of PAG 46, it's cheap and you can buy a small bottle at any parts store.

I am surprised nobody mentioned replacing the expansion valve.
