Default replaced front driver door now hood wont close all the way

I never thought this could happen the same night I replaced a door for the first time but I cant figure out what went wrong. We pulled off the front bumper The front driver side fender and front door. When we put everything back together all the pieces line up right but the hood has a huge gap. Something seems to going on with the latch. Which makes me think it got pinched somewhere but I'm a little stuck as to what to trouble shoot before pulling it all apart again. If it helps I can take more pictures.

if you were replacing parts due to an accident when you unbolt something other parts that had tension on them might shift.

Unless your car was in an accident, you didn't allign the parts correctly.
