Default Gs400 drive shaft with aristo swap

I have searched and read a few threads on the gs400 front half not working.

Im curious as to why? Is it just the length?

If if one was to cut the front half down it would work fine correct ?

Guess ss arist swap guys im here to listen.

Is it difficult removing the front half of the drive shaft?

Also, what is needed below, both halves or just the shorter half?

The top shaft in the picture is the one that has to swap. Trans to Mid-mount. The rears are the same.

ive done this swap a few times now, going manual finally on mine.

The flange and donut fit. The length is wrong using the gs400 shaft. Going to order an aristo front half and compare them before I install.

Some me said the gs400 would work , well it fits the trans.

It it is too long tho so it does NOT work.

Ill have exact measurements shortly when the aristo half shows up
