clutch for w58?
Ive looked around and cant seem to find a clutch for the W58 that can withstand more than 450 lbs trq. Anyone know where i can find a 5-600+ that is not a twin clutch? I cant afford to throw down $1500 on a clutch.

i got the spec stage 3+ because thats the level im at around 450-550 area. Some people have had 600-700hp on this clutch but torque is what kills the w58.. i paid like 600 for mine. Also depends on how you drive. If your just doing smooth pulls it shall do. If your drag racing or drifting the w58 isnt the best choice. Im looking into goin towards the cd900 swap

3+? is rated for way more than 370

"Had one for about a year making ~540whp and it was a fantastic clutch. I like it better than the OS Giken I have now!"
I run the spec 3+ for the w-58 and its rated at 465tq as the r154 version is rated at 620tq. I make 423whp and 401tq through mine which is at about the limit they rate the clutch for and its been holding up fine for 2 1/2 years now.
"most people ran this thing under 500tq... It says rating to 600tq or so.. I planned on 550whp and 500+tq.. I was in 400tq range when I took it out.. it never slipped or drove like a puck clutch at all.. noone could tell it wasn't stock.. Loved it.. I would not use this clutch for anything over 550 anything.."
