Default Chrome Trim Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the long chrome trim above the doors? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Its all snapped on, gotta give a tug. Be careful because its a long piece of trim connected to the half oval behind the rear doors which I believe is screwed on. I say, start from there.

Yeah looks like the half oval piece is bolted to the body and has to be unbolted from inside and its riveted to the long piece. Im good with all that. It was the long piece i was really questioning. If its just a pull I'll work with that, there are 2 in the junkyard right now, I'll try on the crappy one first. Thanks!

this is kind of a helpless thread to resurrect? You should just start a new thread with your specific question? Cause this thread doesn’t do a good a job identifying what specific piece of chrome you want to remove? The piece at the top of the cladding on each door? Youll need to remove the cladding and then you can remove the chrome trim, there are some nuts that need to be removed and then there is also some heavy duty double sided tape that will need to be dealt with, a long knife is what some people have used, a pressure washer might be easier for other people? Once the cladding is off the door, the chrome also has some short Phillips head screws then some more 2sided tape.
If your talking about something different, let me know and I will see if I can point you in the right direction.
