Default I thought you guys would appreciate this. Almost 550k miles

I have been looking for a cheap winter beater to keep the miles off my Cayenne Turbo and have been looking at 2GS's. I came across this one on craigslist with almost 550k on the original engine and transmission. Obviously this car has been serviced well to get it there but has too many miles for me to take a chance. Either way it sure is cool seeing that odometer. Hopefully my wife has the same luck with her 4GS as this guy had with his 2GS.

How do you know its in KM? Seems odd the seller would even tell me 550k miles if its actually lower.

Good eye. The seller admitted he has only had the car a few months (bought for son) so he probably didn't notice it like I have. Thanks!

I see its a gs400, wow that is an accomplishment in my book, also is that the original engine and tranny? Kindly brief us on this magnificent achievement.

I'd be tempted to test drive it, just out of curiosity.

I work for a Lexus dealership and just last month a lady traded her 99 ES with 448K miles. I suggested to the GM to put the car on display to show how Lexus cars are built to last.

Amazing! Love hearing that! Too bad the newer ES aren't built like that, just a glorified Camry

I had over 580K km on my 92 Cressida before I sold it a couple of years ago. It was in pretty good condition and still running well. So much so, that I got a $1000 for it.

My 98 GS4 has close to 420K km. Just changed the time belt, water pump etc. Looks like it should go at least another 100K easy...

GS4 is the best! Like it more then my 2GS430. The cabin is more quiet and it's way more responsive and fun to drive then the 430! Miss the one I had.
