I want to make my Gs300 fast.
Everything on my car is stock right now besides my wheels. I live in NYC and i want to take my car to a shop and make it fast. What i mean is, i want to turbo it and everything. What can i do, how much will it cost, will my car still be reliable, and will it affect my mpg or maintaince every year? Please lmk.
P.s , im not a DIY guy

What can i do,
Turbo or supercharge (with GS300, I'd recommend turbo). Also will likely need headers, exhaust, upgraded brakes, etc.
how much will it cost,
Between $2000 and $10000 depending on how "fast" you want your GS to be, assuming you are not doing the work.
will my car still be reliable,
Not nearly as reliable as OEM
Will it affect my mpg or maintaince every year?
Yes and Yes. More gas and higher maintenance. You'll also likely have to take it to specialty places to do some aspects of the maintenance.
Tons of threads on turbo GS300, try searching and looking through build threads. Personally not something I'd recommend unless you have some mechanical ability to do part of the work yourself or have deep pockets.

Probably the cheapest and most reliable thing to do would be to get a GS430. Just straight up sell the GS300 and switch to a GS430. Second best option would be an Aristo V300 swap, but that's already a lot of mechanical work to pay someone to do. What do those 2JZGTEs go for with transmission, 2-4k arrived? Plus the labour to install it. But it is a Toyota engine meant for this chassis so it's still relatively plug and play, compared to taking an engine from a different vehicle altogether. I... actually don't know if a V300 is faster than a GS430, I'll let someone else answer. Neither one is like, Corvette-killer fast or anything. But the GS300 is such a dog, either the Aristo or GS430 are a significant upgrade in fun. And they sound way better.
