'98 GS300 Transmission problems
Hey guys ! Just bought my first automatic car three days ago.It's a 98 GS300 (european spec).The ECT PWR switch can switch to snow mode,but nothing happens when I get to PWR mode (PWR light on the dashboard doesn't illuminate,shift points stay the same).Also,car skips 2nd gear.And maybe 4th (nothing happens when I switch from 2 to 3 and from 4 to D).
Previous owner had the fluid changed recently.I checked the level and saw it's overfilled.I will fix that,but I doubt that's the root of my problems.Anyone got an idea what am I dealing with ? Shift solenoids ?
