Charcoal Fuel Canister
Posted this to the groups on fb but no one answered....
~Question ~
What's the correct part number for the 2000 gs300 charcoal canister? I've already looked on the forums and searched the internet and I guess that #77740-30311 is replacement OEM for #77740-30310. What I don't get is that on eBay, a seller has listed #77740-53011 as a factory replacement as well for the '00 while another listed that # for '01-'05; are these parts interchangeable or something? Don't all 2gs use the same part number? Stealership told me they don't and that #77740-30311 is the correct part for my '00.

From my access to Lexus and Toyota diagrams, 77740-30311, or 77740-30310 is correct for 1998-2001.
In 2002-2005 they changed the design to a completely different part number.
Now did you have your car tested with pressurized colored smoke to verify that this is a problem part or area that is leaking, and needs replacing? It's an expensive piece and doesn't look too easy to get to!
