99 GS300 no start after valve cover gaskets
Hey guys, did quite a bit of searching around and have yet to find the answer. I have a 99 GS300 with 230k that was running and driving great up until I decided to change out my leaky valve cover gaskets. Once I put the car back together I go to start it and it just cranks but won't turn over. I've checked every connection probably 10 times over. It has spark and the fuel pump is priming, it won't even turn over with starter fluid sprayed into the TB. The car just started throwing engine code P1300. Any ideas?

Double check your #1 coil for any breaks in the lines. The car is old and the wires are brittle, you cant rule out that its not a wire issue. Sure you may have spark, but it can be intermittent. I say swap the coils around as well to rule out the coil itself.
Again, inspect the hell out of the wire from the ecu to the coil.
