Default Strange whine noise when turning while parked

Hey fellas something real ****ing annoying is going on with my 00 gs400. I just damn replaced the ps pump with a brand new cardone select brand, Gates high pressure hose, and a reman denso alternator. So whenever i turn while the car is not moving my car makes a loud whining noise, it gets quieter around 5-15 mph then its not noticeable anymore at 20+ mph. The car handles fine and the power steering works. Just cant wrap my head around the whining part. Anybody have any idea to whats going on? Thanks for the help.

Sounds like a PS pump issue but have checked out your drive belt pulleys. Two of mine were bad.

Did you bleed all of the air out of the power steering pump when you installed it?

Sounds like it still has some air in the power steering system. If you bled it after installing the parts. I would just continue driving it for a couple of days and hopefully the sound goes away.

I went to my local trusted mech and he told me the exact same thing. I'll give it a week and if I still here the noise i'll just bring it to him. Thanks guys!

Don't just drive it and see what happens. Check the fluid level and make sure it's properly filled and bleed it while it's parked so you have the opportunity to see if the level drops so that it doesn't go low enough to damage something.
