Default Easiest way to disable power locks?

I want to temporarily disable the power locks because I have elderly parent that keeps locking car with the keys laying on the seat. Pulling the fuse won't work because that fuse controls other things. I'd rather not do something permanent for resale reasons. 2004 GS 300

Not entirely following. If the keys are on the seat (assume car seat), how are they accidentally locking the car? Strange as that sounds to me, if you leave the keys in the ignition the doors won't lock. If you're really set on disabling the power lock, I suppose you could pull the door panels and unplug the power running to the lock actuators.

Elderly person who takes the keys out of the ignition, lays them on the seat, planning to take them with him, but then steps out of the car and hits the power lock button

You can find the ground wire going to the switch and pull the wire out of the harness. They clip right out if you use precision flat head screwdriver, or maybe even a paper clip.
