If the car is in good condition, it's worth $3K.

since you are asking: zero
i wouldn't buy it.
it is not a sound decision to buy a car, especially a luxury car, in the last 20% of it's lifespan. a 240k car will very likely turn out to be an expensive lesson. it's simply costs too much to keep it going. if you are in that price range, you don't have extra cash for repairs.

oops. most that ask that are looking to buy.
in that case,
couple tips:
1. take photos of your car in front of a nice house. things look better surrounded by other nice things and the perception is if a wealthy person owned it they probably took care of it.
2. take a photo of your maintenance records spread out on a table and include that in the ad. these show how well it's been taken care of and counterbalance the high miles.
3. have good matching tires and mention that in the ad. you are selling a 'turn key' opportunity.
4. $2,900 list price if you have records, less if you don't

Why not keep it as a spare car?

I'd pay about 3200-3800 for that vehicle since it's a SD. If it has been properly maintained and kept up to date, that would be awesome. Bear in mind that I would budget to have few thousand handy just in case for repairs and updated maintenance like suspension (bushings and control arms) and minor repairs like O2 sensors, servo motors, and gaskets. For a prestigious luxury brand, you can't get something as reliable to maintain at that price range imho.

my thoughts exactly I was torn between a 2GS and a G35c back in the day. Now with the prices being so low I couldn't help picking one up...

I'm in that boat now....wife wants us to sell one of my cars.
Would love to keep both if possible.

Nothing else even comes close to these cars for price/benefit quotient
