Default HID kit??

Need to buy a new HID kit, want to run a 55 watt 5500k in color. Where do you guys buy kits from? Theretrofitsource.com has the kits for $150 but that just seems like a lot. Let me know where you guys have bought kits and how well they have lasted..

I feel like 55 watt ballast are just overkill. But ive always got my hid kits from xenondepot.com. They're 150 for their most expensive set but you will not regret! Great quality hid kits!

+1 on xenondepot.com can't go wrong with the VOLT KIT 6K. Just remember to get a relay kit for direct power to battery.

I am not sure what warranty those places have, but I have had good luck with Innovited brand parts from eBay.

AFAIAC, I would not spend more on hardware like that without a better warranty.

For tech that is supposed to last 10 years, I would go solely on that and what they actually look like.

Another thing is, with a non 55wat HID housing (which is every single one for our cars) you are not going to get the correct output.
All I am saying is that it will not be perfect. I have 55 watt in an aftermarket housing hit in my 01 Camry. The light output is not correct, for sure.
I get flashed once and a while.

I also get flashed in my 430 since I have the wrong bulbs in there. Even going from a D2S to a D2A, or whatever changes the output.
